Coming this Winter: Advocacy Skillshare—A Blog to Elevate Ideas and Innovations

The Housing Trust Fund Project will launch a new web forum Advocacy Skillshare to advance the cross-pollination of ideas, tactics and strategies that effectively advance housing and homeless advocacy. One of the great privileges we have at the Housing Trust Fund Project is the chance to hear about the creative advocacy campaigns and effective strategies developed by leaders from state and local coalitions in every part of the country. We are experimenting with this forum in an effort to better share and make accessible the significant advances in housing and homeless advocacy.
Advocacy Skillshare will highlight innovative and inspiring ideas, tactics and strategies related to community engagement, elevating constituent voices, internal coalition communication, cross issue alliances, leadership development, mobilizing supporters, messaging and public opinion research, reporting success, and demonstrating economic benefit.
We welcome your submissions for Advocacy Skillshare posts. We are interested in any advocacy related innovations that would benefit fellow housing and homeless advocates in other communities. Send submissions to Michael Anderson at manderson@communitychange.org.
